Psst - over the next week or so, I'll be sharing more about The Society - what's inside, why I created it, what the new members are already asking about, and more. If you'd rather not hear about it, but you'd like to stay on my general email list for Friday Five and/or other emails, you can click here, and I won't email you about The Society anymore. No hard feelings! I respect your inbox.
Hi Reader,
I've been telling you about The Joyfully Managed Life™ Society this week, and I want to do something that might seem counterintuitive for a launch email: I want to talk you out of joining.
Well, only if it's not right for you.
Because the best thing I can do is be clear about who this is for, who it's not for, and what you don't need in order to get real value from being inside. So let's do that.
The Society is for you if:
You're a leader or professional who's managing a lot — at work, at home, or (let's be real) both — and you're good at it, but you're also tired of figuring everything out alone.
You've got a question you've been sitting on — about your team, your schedule, your systems, your home — and you'd love to just ask someone who gets it - who has led teams, who teaches systems, and who has helped thousands of leaders like you.
You've started more systems than you've finished. Not because you're bad at follow-through, but because there was no structure holding you to it. No one checking in. No dedicated time. Just you, your good intentions, and a tab you meant to get back to.
You want practical, ready-to-use resources — not a content library you'll feel guilty about never finishing.
You're looking for something that fits into your life instead of becoming another thing to manage.
The Society is probably not for you if:
You're looking for a course with a start date and an end date. (This is ongoing support, not a program you "complete.")
You want peer-led group discussions or a busy online community. (This is expert-led and intentionally low-noise. The value comes from me answering your questions and building resources — not from managing another social feed.)
You need someone to overhaul your entire life in one month. (We do real work here, but it's one thing at a time, one month at a time. Progress, not perfection.)
You're already thriving in both your work ops and your life ops, have all the support you need, and your to-do list is under control. (You probably don't need this.)
And here's what you don't need to get value from The Society:
You don't need to have kids. About half the content is work-focused, and the home and life stuff applies whether you're managing a household of five or a household of one. But if you do have kids, bring those questions to me as a fellow parent who gets it.
You don't need to be available at specific times. Everything is async-friendly — Ask Jess, The Monthly Drop, Get It Done Weeks. No required live calls, ever. I'll likely do some live workshops to treat y'all, but there'll always be a replay if you want it.
You don't need to "be super organized already." (If you were, you probably wouldn't need this.) This is for people in the middle of figuring it out — not people who've already arrived.
You don't need to use everything every month. Some months you'll dive deep. Some months you'll just fire off a question to me. Maybe you'll just read what other members are asking while you sip your coffee. All of those count and are exactly how it's designed to work.
If you're reading this and thinking "okay, yeah, this is me" — the founding member launch is still open (until Monday night). Lock in the lowest price this membership will ever be, and get access to our exclusive founding member bonuses (including a founders-only workshop and our first Get It Done Week starting April 20th).
Join The Joyfully Managed Life™ Society
And if you're reading this and thinking "not right now" — that's completely fine too. No hard feelings, just good information. This will stay open if you're ready in the future.
Jess
P.S. If you've been busy and missed the previous emails about this, they're here for ya.
